New News Director Named

Joe Carmean has been named News Director at WMDT, the Salisbury-based television station. Carmean's appointment was announced by Marquee Broadcasting.

Carmean's professional background includes a 12-year tenure as a reporter, followed by roles as city editor and managing editor for The Daily Times in Salisbury, where he oversaw its Delmarva publications. He also served as News Manager at WBOC.

Stephanie Willey, General Manager of WMDT, stated, "Joe brings a wealth of newsroom leadership experience, and we are excited to have him lead our news team."
