The Death of Our Democracy?

On Sunday morning, President Donald Trump stopped by one of his safe spaces and basically said he’s will to piss all over our democracy.

While talking to Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, Trump said that he is weighing forcing journalists who published leaked details from a US intelligence report assessing the impact of the recent American military strikes on Iran to reveal their sources.

Trump added that his administration may prosecute those reporters and sources if they don’t comply.

For anyone who believes in Journalism and the freedom of the press, reading those two paragraphs above, should send shivers down you spine.

The leader of North Korea saying this, or Russia, that I would sort of expect. But, the fact that the President of the United States is saying he is thinking about prosecuting Journalist for doing their job. I afraid we no longer are living in a democracy.

It hurts like hell to say that, but I’m sorry, this is where we are.
