News Never Sleeps.....Well Except

With the Space Coast so close, the Orlando DMA has always been big on launch and space coverage with NASA and SpaceX.

But it appears that Graham’s WKMG did not “get results” for the community.

There was an Axiom crew launch at 2:31am on June 25. While yes is was a late launch, it’s still human space flight.

Looking at the Orlando TV market, Spectrum News 13 did cut ins on the half hour from 11pm and and had a main anchor and reporter live at 2:25am. WFTV, WESH and WOFL all cut in between 2:25 and 2:30am with crews at the station and out live.

But, WKMG, just put up a small little box in the lower left hand corner of the screen with no audio showing the launch.

You know once again this was all about saving money.

But for a station that prides itself on getting results, it sure looked lame compared to the other O-town stations.
