The Disappearing Networks at Gray

Yesterday, FTVLive told you how the Gray station in Tallahassee had taken the CBS Eye off of their logo.

One FTVLive reader emailed us to say this has become a patter at the Gray properties.

Hi, Scott... regarding your post about WCTV dropping the CBS "Eye" from the station logo, this is nothing new.

- WOWT, Gray's NBC affiliate in Omaha, dropped the Peacock from the station logo about a year ago.

- KOLN/KGIN, Gray's CBS affiliate for most of Nebraska, also dropped the Eye when they refreshed their logo recently.

- Finally, you'd be hard-pressed to know what network Gray's KMOV in St. Louis is affiliated with, or even what the station's call letters are, as they've genericized themselves to be "First Alert 4" now.
