Fox GMs Dropping Like Flies

I’m not sure I buy what some managers at Fox stations are trying to sell.

Earlier this week, WFLD (Chicago) General Manager Sheila Oliver announced that she was leaving the station.

She had been there just a couple of years or so.

Then on Wednesday, KTTV GM Steve Carlston announced he was leaving, and also said he was retiring. Carlston had also been with the station a short time.

Fox can say what they want, but I’m not buying it.

Also, the Anchors at Fox Austin, who were told their positions were being eliminated. It looks like Fox is swinging the axe, but trying to keep it very quiet.

Stay tuned…
