Producer Anchors the Newscast

Looking at the website of Gray’s WCTV in Tallahassee, the station has many anchors for being such a small market.

Apparently, on Sunday night none of the nearly dozen WCTV Anchors were available to do the late newscast.

Looking at the air check for the late news on Sunday, Producer Grace Smith anchored the newscast. I don’t know if she also produced the same newscast that she anchored, but don’t let the Gray suits hear about it.

If Gray CEO Hilton Hatchett Howell (his real name by the way) finds out, he might ditch the 11 Anchors and just have the Producers do it all.
