How Much Is This Costing Scripps?
/Scripps has sent a Reporter to the Vatican in Rome to cover the conclave as the Catholic Church votes on a new Pope.
“Can you explain to me how Scripps has enough money to send a crew to cover the Papal Conclave for a network that nobody watches; but their stations, who people actually do watch, went through massive layoffs?” said one Scripps employee to FTVLive.
The other thing, is Scripps committed to staying in Rome until a new Pope is named?
Pope Francis was elected in just two days and just 5 rounds of voting. But, the longest conclave lasted over 3 years.
If it takes that long, I thing Scripps will have already been sold off.
Just saying…
