Signing Off from the Sinclair Station in Cincy

Anchor Annie Brown is departing WKRC after two years, she announced on social media Tuesday, May 20. Her last day at the station will be May 31.

"To say these past two years have been a blessing would be an understatement," Brown shared. "I'm terrible at goodbyes and often avoid them because they're hard for me ... and this one gets me so emotional."

Brown, who served as an anchor, reporter, and host of "Tri-State: Unsolved," expressed her gratitude for her time at the station. "A piece of my heart will always be with WKRC. And I will forever be grateful for not just the career experience I gained, but the friendships I made during my time here. Cincy, I love you," she continued.

A 2021 journalism graduate of Asbury University, Brown joined WKRC in May 2023. Before coming to Cincinnati, she spent nearly two years as an anchor and reporter at ABC 36 (WTVQ-TV) in her hometown of Lexington, Kentucky.

"I came to WKRC as a very young, very inexperienced journalist. I was healing, I was learning, and I was desperate for a place that could encourage me and help me grow. I found just that in the people I've had the privilege to work with during my time here," Brown stated. She also teased that she "can't wait to share what's in store next."
