Allen Media's Experiment Ending?

Word is that after Allen Media hubbed a bunch of their midwest stations, they are no unhubbing them.

You may remember that Allen Media swung the axe across stations such as WREX, KWWL, KIMT, WKOW, WAOW, WQOW and WXOW, putting many hard working people out of a job.

It was part of Allen Media’s plan to cut costs and hub stations together.

Sources tell FTVLive that the ratings took a nosedive after the subbing happened.

Now, AMG is looking to go back to where they were. “I am at WREX… our hub was KWWL. KIMT was also hubbed at KWWL. We are now unhubbing,” said an insider to FTVLive, adding, “In Wisconsin, WKOW was the hub, now - WAOW, WQOW and WXOW are unhubbing.”

WAOW also took to social media to tell viewers they have gone back to the future.
