Steve Doocy Pulls Back at Fox News
/First, I’ll be honest, if I had to sit next to Ainsley Earhardt and Brian Kilmeade every day, I would want a change as well.
Fox and Friends host Steve Doocy, the sane one on the show, announced that yesterday was his last day in his current role on the show.
“After decades of getting up at 3:30 and driving into New York City in the dark, today is the last day I will host the show from the couch,” Doocy said on Thursday’s broadcast of the program. “I am not retiring. I’m not leaving the show. I’m still a host, but it’s time for a change.”
Doocy is expected to be a remote host three days a week. Often he will be live from locations in the south and midwest.
Doocy has been the one person on the show to help reign in the other hosts as they spouted Trump talking points. Doocy would often reel in the others as they would preach Trump’s word as it was gospel.
Sadly, I’m not sure anyone will fill that role at Fox and Friends, and honestly, I think that is how Fox News wants it.
