A Face for Radio

Years ago, people in radio would apply for jobs at TV stations. They wanted to get out of radio news into TV news.

Well, it appears the script has flipped.

In Seattle, former KIRO main anchor Aaron Wright, former KOMO anchor Chris Nguyen and current KOMO reporter Denise Whitaker are heading to 97.7.   KNWN.

Wright and Nguyen have landed on their feet after being cut by their stations and Whitaker, a longtime fixture at KOMO is coming to the radio station in June. 

The exodus from TV stations, whether forced, or on their own, continues.
