Close to Hashmarks...

Nexstar’s News Nation continues to struggle when it comes to ratings. It’s so bad that they are this/close to getting hashmarks in the demos.

Looking at the week of April 20th, News Nation’s prime time demo was a 0.01. In households, the struggling cable news channel did not even crack 80,000 viewers.

Dayside numbers show households at just 40,000 and the demo was a 0.00.

News Nation tried starting out as down-the-middle news coverage and when that didn’t work, they trying moving to the conservative-right hoping to become Fox News lite.

None of this has worked, and it might be best to blow it all up and try something new.
