News Director Gone in Boston

In July of 2022, Gerardo Lopez was named the News Director of CBS’s WBZ in Boston.

“While Gerardo and I have never worked together, I have followed his career path for several years and have long considered him to be a strong leader in the local news business,” said Adrienne Roark, president, CBS Stations at the time. “I am a fan of his passion for seeking the truth, holding the powerful accountable and effecting change.”

Well, the passion is no more.
