Sources tell FTVLive that Nexstar swung ax at KRON in San Francisco.

One source tells us that they sacked people in the engineering department and Anchors have been told they will need to run their own teleprompters. While that might be common in market 60, we’re talking about a top 10 market here.

One KRON employee pointed out that the layoffs hit while Nexstar’s News Nation continues to hire and flounder. “I don’t know how Perry Sook looks himself in the mirror…” the staffer said to FTVLive.
