Resurfacing Across the Street

Back in mid-January, FTVLive told you that KOVR/KMAX Consumer Reporter Kurtis Ming had left the CBS O&O after more than two decades, and he didn’t even say goodbye.

Now we know why that is.

Ming has finally resurfaced and it is just down the road at KCRA.

For decades, Kurtis has demonstrated his daily passion to be a watchdog for Northern California," said Derek Schnell, Hearst Television Regional Director of News and KCRA 3 News Director. "He is consistently someone viewers can call on and trust to seek out answers. And his tireless efforts to provide the best information and context as part of our team will be a valuable service for our community."

“We are thrilled to welcome Kurtis to our team,” said KCRA 3/My58 President and General Manager Ariel Roblin. “Anyone that knows Kurtis knows he cares deeply about the ethical practices of journalism and the communities within our coverage area.

Ming will Anchor the 4PM, 7PM on KCRA and the 10PM on their sister station.
