That's the Tittle You're Going With?
/I have said and still stand by it, journalism suffered greatly when news crews were replaced by MMJs.
A news crew showed up to the scene with the Photographer getting video and sound of what was happening, while the Reporter was gathering information and lining up interviews.
Now, one person is tasked with doing those two jobs and there is no way that that person can compete with a two person news crew.
When it comes to the MMJ, you can thank or blame Michael Rosenblum. Rosenblum did not invent the MMJ, but he certainly helped push it on stations and even went so far to have Reporters shoot stories on their iPhones.
On social media, Rosenblum now refers to himself as the “Father of Video Journalism.”
I know others who refer to him differently.
