Guess the Influencer Gig Didn't Work

Back in July of 2024, FTVLive told you that WJLA (DC) Anchor Robert Burton announced he is leaving the Sinclair station to become an influencer.

You know, work when you want, brands paying you big money and you don’t have to worry about ethics of pitching products.

Well, apparently, the influencer waters weren’t as smooth as he thought.

Burton has now returned to TV news, across the street at WTTG, The Firm’s station in DC.

Then again, the way things are in TV news today, he might be allowed to report the news and still do some influencing on the side,
