Trying to Fool Viewers?!

NBC’s WCAU (Philly) which claims to have the biggest presence in the region due to NBC, Telemundo, and NBC Sports Philadelphia, sent out a push alert to viewers over the Thanksgiving weekend.

The alerts mentioned Meteorologist Brian Mendoza.

Mendoza's brief bio on the WCAU website does not include the word "meteorologist".

The listing of AMS-Certified Individuals doesn't include a Brian Mendoza.

So, is NBC in Philadelphia giving the guy a title he didn't earn, or just trying to pull the wool over the viewers’ eyes.

Mendoza might be an excellent presenter who the public can trust for weather information, but it ssuyre eems he's no meteorologist.

Just saying…
