Fox Weather Using AI

While this is certainly not a major breach of ethics, it should have at least been mentioned.

Fox Weather posted an image on social media, along with a Thanksgiving message to viewers.

The message was nice and fine, but the image might have confused a few people. The image was of a Fox Weather balloon that aaapeared to be in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. But, it sure looks like it was generated by AI.

if you look closely, very few of the lines are being held by people, there are no lines holding down the rear of the balloon, the text on the FOX microphone is not legible and there are no other balloons as far as the eye can see.

Like I said, this is not a huge breach of ethics, but it should have been mentioned that it was AI. If they are willing to use AI for this, are they using it in their weather coverage pictures as well?
