CBS Mornings Anchor Slams Exit Rumors

Gayle King is hearing a different story than the one making the roiunds.

Amid mass layoffs at Paramount, the longtime "CBS Mornings" host firmly denied a Variety report suggesting she would leave the show when her contract ends next May.

King told TMZ on Friday she has no plans to go, clarifying, "I like the job and the people that I work with... What I’m hearing in the building is not what I’m reading in the press." She also dismissed speculation that she would be moving into a "different role" within the company.

Is King staying on? Or, is she just the last to know?
