No Experience Required

At Scripps-owned WRTV (Indianapolis), Morning Anchor Kaitlyn Kendall was tasked with being the news anchor, Traffic Reporter and Meteorologist on the station’s newscast.

The Met’s wife went into the labor and Kendall was required to do all the anchor jobs on the newscast.

While, she did well, and good for her for stepping up, I put the blame on management at WRTV. They had to know that the Weather forecaster could be called away at anytime, with a pregnant wife. Why did not not have a plan in place for when this was going to happen.

A+ to Kendall and an F- to the managers who didn’t have a plan in place.
