Nexstar Sucks Up Hard to Trump

In Nexstar’s effort to kiss up to Donald Trump, according to an internal memo sent to the staff at News Nation, they will use the Trump administration’s pet names for the Defense Department.

Here is the memo, obtained by FTVLive:

Subject: UPDATE: Dept of Defense vs Dept of War

Update - for scripts and banners, please use what the Administration refers to as “Department of War” and “Secretary of War.”

You can also include in scripts that the Trump Administration made the name change from Secretary of Defense.

Officially the name of the department has not been changed but the Administration refers to it as this and Hegseth calls himself Secretary of War.
