Get Ready Tegna, Uncle Perry is Coming

Word is that Nexstar is about to start making station visits to the Tegna stations that are looking to buy.

Sources tell FTVLive that the due diligence process is about to start with visits from the Nexstar brass to each of the Tegna stations.

“The visits will begin in the next few weeks with Perry (Sook) and others coming to each station,” said our source.

Word is that Nexstar expects the FCC rule changes allowing the deal to proceed by end of this year unless the government shutdown is prolonged.
