Signing Off in Dallas

Popular KDFW (Dallas) Morning Anchor Hanna Battah is working her last day at The Firm’s Texas station.

Battah announced her departure onn social media. “It’s time for me to sign off,” she announced Sunday. “I’m filled with gratitude for the adventures, stories, and everyone who supported me and tuned in throughout my time at KDFW.”

Battah joined KDFW in 2018, having previously worked as a reporter and anchor at KBAX/KBFX in Bakersfield, California. She quickly moved up the ranks, transitioning from the station’s weekend morning telecast to becoming a co-anchor on the highly-rated weekday morning program, Good Day.

While her last day on air is scheduled for today, Battah is keeping her future plans under wraps, fueling speculation about a potential move to a national broadcast role. “I can’t share next plans quite yet, but I’m hoping to be able to VERY soon,” she responded to a comment on her recent Facebook post.

She posted about her exit on social media.
