What If Journalists Starting Doing This?
/You might have seen the interview in which ABC’s George Stephanopoulos dismissed JD Vance, cutting him off when he would not answer a direct question.
I think Journalists across the board and across political lines should use this practice.
Too often Journalists ask a question of a politician on either side of the aisle, only to be met with a talking point answer, which is completely off topic.
Think about it, you are interviewing a politician, you ask a question, and when they try and duck the answer, you just say “thank you very much” and you break down and walk away.
If Journalists started do this is mass, the politicians would either have to start answering the question asked, or see a huge hit to their “FaceTime.”
Apply this to all politicians and you could change the game that they play with Journalists.
