Gray Trolls For Clicks

Two days ago we pointed you to a post by WSMV, the Gray station in Nashville.

We showed that when you click the story, you find out that the incident happened 1,645 miles away in Orem, Utah.

Is scaring the crap out of parents really worth the clicks?

Well, turns out that this lame move was not done by WSMV, it appears that Gray corporate pushed the story out to all their stations.

If you iook at all the stories posted by Gray stations, they all use different arrows or variances. In other words, this was not a copy/paste story post like Tegna is usually guilty of.

This appears to have been pushed to the Gray stations from higher up the ladder. The idea was to scare the shit out of parents, just to get clicks.
