Ashleigh Banfield Re-Ups at News Nation

Nexstar’s News Nation sent out a press release announcing that they have resigned host Ashleigh Banfield to a multi-year deal.

The release says, “According to Nielsen, since September 2022, ratings for Banfield have nearly doubled among total viewers and are up more than 250% among those ages 25 to 54. Banfield also has increased its audience by triple-digits since its launch compared to January 2024, up more than 400% among both total viewers and adults 25 to 54.”

FTVLive also looked at the Neilsen numbers, and if you compare the start of 2023 to the start of 2024, Banfield is down slightly in total viewership. Her show is also down in the demo month-to-month this year.

It is classic spin zone stuff.
