News Boss Calling it a Career

WSYR News Director Jim Campagna says he is calling it a career next week.

He started at the now Nexstar station as a Producer back in 1977 and has been the ND since 2015.

“It’s been an honor to work with and lead a team of professionals that take pride in the stories they share each day and the community they serve,” Campagna said.

If you’re thinking about applying for the WSYR News Director job, forget it, it’s already been filled.

The station announced that Assistant News Director Rob Taylor, who joined the station this past Summer, will be the new news boss.

Campagna's last day is next Wednesday.
