More Bad News For Nexstar

Looking at the end-of-the-year ratings for the cable networks, you would expect all networks to be up for the year given the election.

That was the case for Fox, MSNBC, CNN, and even NewsMax. All of them showed a ratings increase year over year.

There was one cable net that did not have an increase; in fact, ratings were down around 30%.

Nexstar’s News Nation was the only cable news network to drop in ratings year to year.

If you can't capitalize on one of the most lively elections in history, I’m not sure how viable your network is.

I will predict that Uncle Perry is going to make some big changes at News Nation in 2025. He has no choice, as the current model and management are not working.
