Chauncy Glover is set to take on a significant role at KCBS and KCAL, the CBS-owned television stations in LA. Glover, who has been a prominent figure at KTRK, the ABC-owned station in Houston for the last eight years, is all set to make his mark on the West Coast. Starting October 2nd, viewers can catch Glover co-anchoring "KCAL News on CBS Los Angeles" during the 5 and 11 p.m. slots, as well as the 8 and 10 p.m. newscasts on KCAL.

Glover's appointment comes as he takes over from Jeff Vaughn, who will be leaving the station.

This statement underscores the importance of community-oriented reporting and Glover's commitment to the same.

He also expressed his admiration for his new colleagues, particularly veteran anchor Pat Harvey, with whom he'll be co-anchoring. "I have long respected many of my new colleagues, including the esteemed Pat Harvey — who is someone I hold in high regard as a journalist and shares my love of singing and making a joyful noise."

Before his time at KTRK, Chauncy Glover made valuable contributions as a reporter at WDIV in Detroit.
