Was it Fox News or Donald Trump?

Fox News host Sean Hannity held a town hall with Donald Trump last week, and one surprising moment came out of that interview.

It was nothing from the interview itself, which was, again, Hannity lobbing softballs at Trump and cheerleading his run for the White House.

No, the surprising moment was when the ratings came in, and it showed that Hannity’s Trump town hall didn’t even beat CNN’s disastrous town hall with Trump back in May.

Hannity/Trump pulled in just 2.8 million total average viewers. At the same time, CNN’s Trump town hall pulled in 3.3 million total viewers back on May 10th.

Fox has been under fire from the MAGAs ever since they parted ways with Tucker Carlson. The network has seen the viewership slide.

Then again, maybe the lower Fox ratings had to do more with Donald Trump.

Many that supported Trump in the past have grown tired of his lies about the 2020 election and how everyone, including many people that he hired, are against him.

In other words, the Trump show has gone so stale that people are tuning out.

Or, maybe it is a combination of Fox News and Donald Trump that had viewers skipping the town hall.

Fox was sure that their ratings were going to be better than CNN’s.

But it didn’t happen, and the suits at Fox that were worried about lower ratings before are now close to panic mode.
