Trying to Look Like Fox News

When Nexstar launched News Nation, they claimed it would be a down-the-middle, unbiased news operation.

As the cable news channel has continued to be a ratings bust, Nexstar has been moving News Nation to the right in an effort to be more like Fox News.

Their latest move, News Nation has hired former White House press secretary Sean Spicer as a contributor.

While all White House press secretaries seem to have problems in telling the truth, Spicer took lying to a whole new level.

In his first WH press conference, Spicer tried to claim that the crowd for Trump's inauguration was huge and bigger than the crowd for Obama’s. Pictures proved that not to be accurate.

Spicer is the latest hired a News Nation, which has become known for hiring misfits and castoffs.

His first appearance was on NN political table talk show “The Hill” to discuss Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s entrance into the 2024 Republican presidential primary.

Just when you think that News Nation can’t lower the bar anymore, they are somehow able to do so.
