Scripps Pulls Plug on Local Newscast

A source in Tallahassee tells FTVLive that Scripps-owned WTXL has officially ended its noon newscast.

The noon show has been replaced with Scripps News Live, a national newscast that has little, if any news from Tallahassee.

The rumor going around the station is that WTXL’s weekend morning shows will be next to be cut.
