ABC News Hits The Gram to Find Younger Viewers

In an effort to be hip, ABC News is on Instagram trying to suck in younger viewers.

It appears that ABC is hiring pseudo-journalist influencers to seem cute and bubbly and charming/witty to tell the news.

Whether it’s a serious or fluff story, they stand in front of these green screens and pop all over the screen with quick cuts and big subtitles popping up.

It kind of reminds me if your mom and dad started dancing to the, “my money don’t jingle, jingle” song.

A bit cringy to say the least.
