Last week, on June 30th at 1 AM, FTVLive posted a story, FIRST telling you that WSAW (Wausau) Anchor Holly Chilsen was arrested and charged with OWI.

The arrest happened on June 12th, but FTVLive did not get wind of the story until we posted it on the 30th.

But, here’s what’s interesting.

Hours after we posted the story of Chilsen’s arrest, which by the way is the third time she has been busted for OWI, her own station got around to doing the story.

Over 10 hours after FTVLive posted the story about the anchor’s arrest, WSAW finally got around to covering the story on their own and it was really lame in the reporting department.

It’s kind of like, the station decided they would ignore the story unless some other media outlet found out about it and reported it.

FTVLive did and the station followed up with their own story.
