Big Apple Bound

We knew years ago that she was headed to the big time.

Back in My of 2017, while doing a story about changes at KOLD in Tucson, we wrote, “FTVLive's favorite Tucson Reporter Janice Yu remains at the station. But, one can wonder for how long before she is snatched up by a bigger market?

In 2019, Yu left Arizona for a job at WAGA, The Firm’s station in Atlanta, and now she is making another move.

Yu is headed to WABC in New York.

She tweeted out that she is headed to the No. 1 station in the No. 1 market.

FTVLive saw this happening 5 years ago.

BTW- If you scroll through Yu’s Twitter, you will find a lot of posts about news stories, very few selfies and no dancing videos.

She is headed to NYC for a reason.
