Back in September of 2021, FTVLive told you how popular WJAR Meteorologist Kelly Bates posted a very emotional video to TikTok announcing that WJAR (Providence), the Sinclair station had kicked her to the curb.

She even took to social media to announce that her career was likely over.

Well, it took quite a while, but her TV career is not over. Bates took to social media to say that she is joining WLNE in the same market.
