NBC News Catches Heat for Tweet

In a tweet about a contestant that is having quite a run on the game show Jeopardy! NBC posted this:

“….Lesbian tutor from Toronto…” what does her sexuality have to do with her winning on a game show.

Is NBC going to start doing this in all their tweets?

Will we see, “The heterosexual Stephan Curry scored 32 points last night….”?

Needless to say, some people on Twitter wondered as well about the NBC News post.

NBC has not addressed the post and it is still up on their Twitter.
