Leaving the Late, Late Show

For you James Corden fans out there, we have some good news and some bad news.

The Good News? Corden has just inked a new deal with CBS to stay on hosting the Late, Late Show.

The Bad News? It’s just a one-year deal and then he’s done.

Corden, best known for his carpool karaoke started back in March of 2015 and he is signing off next Summer.

“It’s been it’s a really hard decision to leave because I’m so immensely proud of the show. I’m thrilled to be extending [for a year],” Corden said in a statement. “I always thought I’d do it for five years and then leave and then I stayed on. I’ve really been thinking about it for a long time, thinking whether there might be one more adventure.”
