Landing at Cox

A few days ago, FTVLive told you that WRC (DC) Investigative Reporter Jodie Fleischer was signing off at the NBC O&O.

We now know where she is headed.

Cox Media Group is creating a new division to focus on elevating investigative content and collaborations among all of its stations.

Fleischer and Josh Wade have been named Managing Editor and Executive Producer, respectively, of the newly created Investigative Unit.

Fleischer’s appointment is effective immediately, while Wade will begin his duties in June. Wade is currently Senior Investigative Producer/Photographer for WSB.

This is a return to Cox for Fleischer. Before DC, she spent 15 years as an investigative reporter at WSB in Atlanta and a reporter for WFTV in Orlando.
