Was This a Paid For News Story?

On CBS Sunday Morning, host Jane Pauley did an interview with actress Sigourney Weaver. The interview was conducted in the New York Botanical Gardens.

Word is that the NY Botanical Gardens paid CBS to have their location featured in the story. But, that arrangement was never mentioned in the CBS piece.

When Pauley was asked by a TikToker about the Gardens paying for the coverage, she admitted that was indeed the case. She also says that they informed viewers of that.
