More Hannity Texts to the White House Emerge

Sean Hannity used to have the No. 1 show on Fox News but has since been passed by Tucker Carlson in the ratings.

Maybe the reason Hannity was passed up, not only was he hosting his Fox News show, he was also busy advising the Trump White House on how to run the country.

More texts surfaced in which Hannity is again trying to tell Donald Trump how to do his job as President.

Hannity told then White House chief of staff Mark Meadows that Trump needs to accept that he lost the election and go to Florida.

He also advised Trump to not try and overthrow the election results on January 6th.

“I do NOT see January 6 happening the way he is being told,” Hannity said in a text to Meadows.

Hannity warned Meadows in a Jan. 5 text that amid the “Pence pressure … WH counsel will leave.” It was an apparent reference to efforts by Trump and his allies to press Pence to unilaterally block the certification of President Joe Biden’s victory.

The House Committee wants Hannity to speak with them, calling him a “fact witness” in their inquiry.

Fox News lawyer Jay Sekulow says, “… any such request would raise serious constitutional issues including First Amendment concerns regarding freedom of the press.”

While freedom of the press is designed to protect Journalists, Hannity himself admits he is not a Journalist.

Therefore, maybe, in this case, the protection is not valid for an “entertainer.”

The fact that Hannity knew just how far off base Trump was and what he was proposing on January 6th, should clearly raise some eyebrows, to say the least.

Also, I don’t know about you, but I’m really not comfortable knowing that a cable news host is helping run the country and advise the President. I don’t care which channel they are on.
