Bumped Up to the Corner Office

FTVLive likes to see when the News Director gets bumped up to the GM’s office. It is certainly better than some geek of sales.

Nexstar announced that WMBD (Peoria) News Director Shaun Newell is getting tossed into the corner office.

Newell has been the station’s News Director since 2017 and is now the GM.

The station announced Newell’s promotion on its newscast.
