The Circle 7 is Dead

As someone that grew up in Buffalo and watched WKBW for my local news, for as long as I can remember the station logo was a Circle 7.

Sure, there were a number of different variations to the logo, but the number 7 always resided inside a circle.

But now, the Scripps station is ditching the circle and the 7 is just out in the wild, without a home.

Sure, this will not make even the slightest bit of a difference in the ratings, but I for one don’t like it.
