Back in July, KWWL (Waterloo) Abby Turpin’s agent announced that she had signed a new deal with the station.

Then this week, the station posted to its Instagram that Turpin is leaving the station and the TV news business altogether.

She tells FTVLive that after over 4 + years at the station, she was made a great offer outside the business.

I guess we can add Turpin to the growing list of people that are leaving TV news for a life outside the boob tube.
