Sources are telling FTVLive that Chris Seper is joining Nexstar’s News Nation as a VP of News.

Seper is coming from Scripps where he was the Senior Director of Content Strategy for the company. At Scripps, Seper worked with the company’s local stations.

He now joins Nexstar’s cable news outlet that is basically a train-wreck and is being led by a guy (Micheal Corn) that has pending lawsuits against him from his time at ABC’s Good Morning America.

No word yet on a start date for Seper at News Nation, but they are supposed to be launching their new morning newscast later this month.
