All Hands On Deck Meeting Called at Tegna Station

The internal memo went out to the staff at Tegna’s WHAS in Louisville.

The memo came from Casie Haas the Administrative Assistant to the General Manager’s office. We say office, because WHAS former GM, Christy Moreno left the station for Tegna’s KING in Seattle. She followed WHAS Julie Wolfe who also bolted for KING.

Here is the memo obtained by FTVLive:

Since it is an all hands on deck meeting, it likely means they will be naming a new General Manager of the station. One WHAS staffer said to FTVLive, “Betting is a new GM, but in Tegna World who knows?” The staffer adds that they believe it will be someone who is already in the Tegna food chain, because Tegna “prefers people who have been washed in the Tegna way of running things.
