That Doesn't Seem Right

Scripps KTNV (Las Vegas) did a story last night on their 6pm newscast about Nevada vaccination rates in the state of Nevada.

KTNV reports that just under 2.9 million people have been vaccinated in the station, which according to them is is just under 43% of the people living in Nevada.

But, looking at the Nevada population in 2021, it is estimated to be 3.2 million.

If the population is 3.2 million and nearly 2.9 million are vaccinated, they adds up to a lot more than 42%.
