Nexstar’s KTLA has lost one of their Executive Producers.

The internal memo went out to the staff to inform them that Mazen Hafez is leaving the station.

KTLA News Director Pete Saiers says in the memo that Hafez is leaving for another opportunity, but Saiers doesn’t mention what that opportunity is?

Sources tell FTVLive that Hafez is headed across the street to KABC. One insider says he’s leaving,”for a lot more money and a lot less aggravation.”

Sounds like a good move.
