Fox News Said it Was Okay
/The FDA sent out a tweet over the weekend saying:
Yep, there are still people that will not get the COVID vaccine but are willing to take a drug that is used for deworming livestock.
Yep, the same people that call others “sheep” are now taking a drug that is used to keep worms out of sheep.
Poison control centers say that calls have spiked from people that have taken the livestock deworming drug Ivermectin.
But, where exactly are these not-so-bright people getting their medical advice from and taking a drug meant for cows and other animals?
MSNBC’s Racheal Maddow thinks she knows the answer and she points squarely at Fox News:
The Mississippi DOH confirms today that at least 70% of the recent calls to poison control in the state have been related to ingestion of livestock or animal formulations of ivermectin purchased at livestock supply centers.
